Étienne Mineur on the future of digital interfaces

Étienne Mineur on the future of digital interfaces

Synopsis of his talk: “web design these days is boring and stupid, because we use these lame design conventions. We need to stop having consistent navigation and site structures, because it’s holding back our creativity. Apple was dumb for removing the clickwheel from the iphone, but brilliant for removing the clickwheel on the iphone. Oh yeah, Google doesn’t have any designers, and nothing they produce is ever designed. That is all.” I wasn’t exactly a fan.
