Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco 2009

March 31st, 2009 from midnight to 11:59 p.m.

Now in its third year, Web 2.0 Expo is for the builders of the next generation web: designers, developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, business strategists, and venture capitalists. We look not only for the hot new thing, but for the failures to learn from, the innovations and inspirations, the successes that will surprise you, and the practical applications of all of the above. Web 2.0 Expo features the most innovative and successful Internet industry figures and companies providing attendees with examples of business models, development paradigms, and design strategies to enable mainstream businesses and new arrivals to the Web 2.0 world to take advantage of this new generation of services and opportunities. Web 2.0 Expo is co-produced by O’Reilly Media and TechWeb. Web 2.0 Expo will be a place for creativity, engineering, and innovation, focusing on four conversations: * Education: a vetted, cohesive conference program to maximize the sharing of knowledge and expertise around creating the next generation web * Tradeshow: a traditional tradeshow floor introducing builders of the Web to providers of tools, technology, services and infrastructure * Networking: a meeting ground fostering face-to-face business development for entrepreneurs, VCs, partnerships and recruitment * Launch Pad: a platform for notable companies and products to debut
