Web Browser CSS Support

It looks like IE8 does indeed have the best CSS 2.1 browser support out there. Kudos to Microsoft (I never say that) for pushing through some really great work to bring IE into the modern, standards-compliant era.

Two things about this:

  1. It will be very strange to consider that if IE8 and Firefox render differently, it’s more likely a Firefox bug than an IE bug.
  2. Now that IE8 supports CSS 2.1, I wonder what the prioritization for CSS 3 and HTML5 are. There’s still some catching-up to do.
